PATCHMAN / DATA HANDLING
Know where
your files go.
Understand the processing, sharing and account boundaries of the tool you choose.
Your account and private work
Patchman Account manages sign-in, profile information and credits for the suite. Apps check the signed-in account before providing access to private projects, files and paid actions. Sharing a link or publishing content changes who can access that item; check its audience and permissions before continuing.
Local and server processing
Processing differs by tool. Browser-based editing can keep working pixels or document content on the device. Saving a project, using cloud storage, converting a document on a server or requesting a remote AI operation involves sending the data needed for that action. Read the selected operation notice and the privacy policy instead of assuming that a statement about one tool covers the entire suite.
Review what the output contains
A visual cover does not necessarily remove underlying text. Redaction uses a different export path, and document metadata, attachments and other pages can need separate review. Check the downloaded result before publishing or deleting the original. Review generated text, images, audio and video for accuracy and rights as well.
Sharing and storage
dọwe separates your logical file organisation from the physical storage used by its service. Customer access controls apply to the file and bucket; physical provider credentials are not customer credentials. Use sharing settings deliberately, revoke access you no longer need and keep an independent copy of important work. Cloud storage is not a substitute for your own recovery plan.
Payments and rewarded ads
Checkout and credit accounting are managed by Patchman Account. A browser message or an ad player alone does not establish a payment or verified reward. Review the displayed charge or reward, keep the reference for a disputed transaction and report unexpected balance changes through support.
Protect access to your devices
Use a strong, unique password and sign out on shared devices. Keep your browser and operating system updated. Never share account sessions, password-reset links, payment-card details or storage keys, including in screenshots or public support reports.
Report a concern privately
Email support@patchman.io with the affected app, a concise description and safe reproduction steps. Do not access or disclose another person's information or disrupt the service to demonstrate a problem. Remove secrets and personal data from any evidence. This page does not claim an independent audit, certification or a guarantee that a system is free of vulnerabilities.
