Before you start
The source assets for your project and a clear delivery goal.
1. Create a project structure
Use one project root with separate source, working and delivery areas. Include release artwork, audio, photos and notes without mixing final files with experiments.
2. Name versions consistently
Use a project name, asset purpose and version number. Avoid names such as final-final-new. Keep a small note describing which version was approved.
3. Set access deliberately
When using a storage service, review whether links are private, who can view them and when they expire. A paywall and access permission are separate choices.
4. Keep a backup
Retain an independent copy of irreplaceable material. Check that the files open before removing local copies.
Check the result
Before sharing, reopen the finished files and check them on the type of device your audience will use. Keep original material separate from delivery copies.
What to know
Use your signed-in dọwe library to store and retrieve your files. Review permissions and any displayed charge before sharing. Logical buckets organise customer files; the service selects physical storage for each stored file. Keep an independent copy of important source material.
