Before you start
A PDF you have permission to edit and a saved original copy.
1. Open and inspect
Open the PDF editor and choose your document. Navigate to the correct page and zoom in until the target area is clear.
2. Use Download
Open the export dialog, choose a descriptive filename and review its form, whiteout and redaction notices. Download a new copy.
3. Download a new copy
Review the edited page, open the download dialog and save a separate file. Inspect the downloaded file rather than relying only on the preview.
Check the result
Reopen the actual output in another PDF viewer and inspect edited pages at normal zoom.
What to know
Most edits are flattened into the output. Redaction affects text searchability on the marked pages.
