How to rotate PDF pages

Before you start

A PDF with one or more pages facing the wrong direction.

Open Rotate and find the affected pages. Select only those pages unless the whole document needs the same correction.

Choose the direction and amount, then check the preview. Rotation adds to any orientation already recorded in the source.

Download and reopen the result. Scroll through pages surrounding the edited ones to confirm the selection was correct.

Check diagrams and landscape tables separately. A landscape page can be intentional even when surrounding pages are portrait.

Rotation changes page orientation. It does not straighten a photograph taken at an angle or deskew text inside the page.
