Before you start
A source photograph and a clear idea of what you want to remove.
1. Prepare the photograph
Open the Repaint application and load the image. Keep the original and identify any details that must remain unchanged.
2. Use Line
Trace the unwanted line and use a width that covers it fully. Treat crossings and supports separately where they are wider than the main wire.
3. Process and inspect
Apply the cleanup where relevant, inspect it at full-image and close-up views, then export a new copy.
Check the result
Thin objects can still cast shadows. Include only the unwanted parts and preserve useful neighbouring edges.
What to know
Open your project in Repaint to apply these steps to your own image. Refine the selection, compare the changed region with the source and review the export. The homepage comparison uses a prepared sample.
